And there was something that was stuck in my mind after that dream, something that I didn’t even see, but now I knew it for sure. And that’s what I seemed to know now: this creature’s face was made of stone and had long, crooked fingers, also made of stone. It wears clothes made of animal furs or clothes of dead travellers that it lured to their deaths. This creature is also obsessed with that stone, it feels that burning need to have it. And now this creature lures passers-by into the blackest cave in the woods.
Later I drew a less sketchy version of that creature and tried to expand the story behind it and I’d like to show you that in the following picture:

This image was one of the first sketches that I drew under the influence of my dream. Actually that dream accured to me like three months ago.
I had a dream. And that’s what I dream of: I saw a cave somewhere in the ridge in the woods. I came closer to see and gleaming in the darkness of the cave I saw a sky-blue gem that glowed dimly. It seemed to call to me to pick it up. I reached it with my hand. And when my fingertips touched it, it appeared that there was a string attached to it and it was pulled by someone or something further into the depths of the cave. And then from the darkness emerged a face of stone with empty eyesockets. That’s where my dream has ended.

This place literally inspired Silent Hill you guys
oh shit this place
this place is literally burning from the inside out
there’s this mine underneath the town that they used as a landfill and years ago it caught on fire
they had to evacuate the whole god damn place because the street was caving in and shit and smoke was spilling out
the fire hasn’t stopped since then and it’s predicted that it will burn for the next 150 years
this place not only inspired silent hill but it’s like literal hell on earth
Oh man. I want to go here.
